SQL EXISTS
Checks whether a subquery finds anything at all — not what value it finds.
What & Why
EXISTS is a true/false check: does the subquery return any row? It doesn't care about the values inside those rows, only whether at least one exists — which is exactly what makes it a safer, often faster alternative to IN.
